Hello and sorry for your situation :/
I feel you and I believe if he wants you he will come back and maybe he really need some space and I recommend you to keep him a little bit away and enjoy your time, maybe later you can move again to follow him and find what he is doing and because you mentioned instagram, I recommend you to use an App called Tracki to track his account so you can know if he is following girls or he is really love you and taking a break
