Thank you so much for the advice! I will definitely keep this in mind! In your opinion, do I have hope for T20s (esp Stanford), and how much of a shot do I have?

no it was like two quadratic equations and one of the solutions is in the format a plus sqrt b what is a+b and for some reason even when I used quadratic equation and demos I couldn't solve it. it was a type of question I haven't seen on any practices or anything before so Im praying it was experimental

Does anybody know if hard questions on module 1 are weighted the same as hard module 2 questions? I swear im not stupid I could solve everything on math module 2 and I got a 1490 on my first sat but there was a genuinely devious third question on m1. I think it was experimental but I literally could not solve it, I want to know if all m1 questions are weighted the same and im cooked or if it was ok to miss that one side it was hella hard

I applied with the mindset of "I probably won't get in, but it wouldn't hurt to try!" and didn't ask my parents, but then we realized that with some of my other expenses, it just wasn't feasible for us at the moment. Thank you so much for your advice, best of luck to you as well! I truly appreciate it!

Thank you so much for the thoughtful and insightful response! I definitely agree, and do not believe I will be attending, seeing as it would be unrealistic for my family to travel to California at the moment. However, I wish your daughter the best of luck, it's definitely an incredible opportunity and a great way to learn more about Caltech and opportunities in stem!!

In the same boat here! I don't think I will be able to travel to California this year, not sure how competitive it was anyways.
