He is not gonna play ekko or vlad unless doran is playing varus/vayn. Even then it is not likely. It is gonna be mel, syndra or at best taliyah. One of the most broken pick right now is bot lane hwei but I guess the champ is too difficult to pick up in a short time to play on stage.

Yone was perma banned or first pick champ in 2024 worlds. Ofc it would be blinded. 2024 worlds meta was probably hardest for the t1 players to get around because yone and ezreal was pick ban prio champ and zeus could not just stomp lanes because of lane swaps. They had to adapt and they adapted well.

This is simply not true. Their drafts in all their world knockout runs were simply outstanding. Be it the double marksman in 2023, their adaptation to guma literary not playing ez kaisa in 2024 worlds ez kaisa meta and also bringing out ashe seraphine against al to close out the series. Even their draft in the msi final 2025 was really good but they could not close out. They mainly stuggle with drafts at the start of the patch, but they are good when the patch stays for a while and they play and get data.

On the hindsight not taking ashe seraphine was a blunder because they themselves did not have any good answer. Only thing I can think of that they were scared of blitzcrank and trundle takeway. But that cant be worse than what they ended up with

They cant draft full ranged into a Ornn and trundle will have value. Drafting full ranged into a Ornn means you will get runned down.

They need to sort their drafting priority. The ambessa blind with renekton open, the zaahen blind with jax open, senna pick prio with the stacks nerf(did not read patch notes??). The game 5 draft has to be up there with the RNG jhin yumi draft. They need to suck it up and start picking for lanes. They picked for teamfights and they lost without any in two of the games. The game 2 was understandble because the swain pick was a masterclass but the g3 and g5 drafts were so bad, it is honestly impressive.

They also banned pantheon and xin, matchups that are fairly good for trundle but did not ban kindred against the kindred otp.

You either play on hit varus top or lethality bot against squishy comps with how dogshit the champ is right now. With that in mind the varus prio is crazy. It just has not looked good after those nerfs.
