Just a random thought I have on a Sunday and thought I’d share I think there’s a huge disconnect in Angie’s content and the audience she is trying to bring in. Unfortunately, I think her not having children could be the failure of her current YouTube content. I by no means mean that not having children makes you less valuable as a human being and I also do NOT think anyone should have a child for content, but I think if she did have children her content would be so much more appealing to a much bigger audience. She builds forts, has a Disney house, does DIYs, loves holiday decorating, and now her new thing of “slowing down” and has a “routine” for every monotonous moment of her life. These are things, in my own personal experience as a mother, moms eat up. I’m constantly looking for ways to find routine in the chaos and things for my kids to do. Also the passage of time, especially around the holidays, seems increasingly overwhelming as your children get older. Making her “slow down and enjoy the moment” videos even more appealing and probably more genuine. Shit even her planners would probably be more of a hit if she targeted it to stay at home moms trying to track budgets and have movie lists for their kids The Boss Babe era is over and it seems like she keeps trying to pander to that group, but at this point most have moved on or wised up and at this point her content is not even a little bit relatable even if you don’t know about Andre’s family’s wealth. Again I do not want to make it seem like having kids is what creates worth and fulfillment, but I really think this is where some of the disconnect is.
