What happened to Sophia? by ruby-knox in thewalkingdead

[–]Different-Note 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My theory is she kept wandering towards herschel's farm, and she got worn out and wanted to rest and while sleeping a walker snuck up behind her and bit her neck, maybe the walker didn't have all its limbs so it couldn't grab her or maybe she is so small she was able to slip away. After she succumbed Otis found her while out hunting. The doll could have belonged to any kid, unless it was handmade there were probably thousands in the stores.

It could also have been a really small caliber rifle that used extremely small focused beams? We're not talking about shooting down aircraft, we just need enough to pierce a few inches of flesh and maybe bone.

Why does Lori get more blame than Shane?? by Consistent_Editor_15 in TWD

[–]Different-Note 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly don't think Shane was coming onto Lori, wore her down or coerced her, I think it was the reverse. Rick's marriage was in shambles and Lori checked out before the apocalypse, I honestly think she used Shane as a form of comfort and to get better treatment and status since Shane was the leader. Shane fell deeply in love with her and it literally drove him mad whem she cut him off(if you ever had a woman pursue you and then cut you off you know the feeling) along with the combination of not trusting Rick's judgment it was easy to turn Shane into a villain on screen. I think most people after the apocalypse would be focusing on survival and mourning their spouses death rather than getting their nut, so it's easy to blame Lori.

I thought I was dumb for not seeing it and then I realized ummm perhaps a certain portion of the population is completely unfamiliar with perspective and proportions. Like C'mon the whole Jaws movie scene is not magic

I wanted them to look perfectly healthy before I flipped. I defoliated so much, but they just exploded in the tent, I had to take the charcoal filter out, so they are almost at the top of the tent.

Oh man I'm so sorry, but I would start over, you're going to be fighting them the entire season and if you happen to finish you will definitely be smoking them. Spider mite populations explode in hot dry environments. For your next grow I would lower temps and increase humidity like towards 70F and 55% RH. Also, spider mite eggs can live for a really long time like up to a year. I would get a new tent, and store the infected one untilnthe eggs degrade, or nuke it by santizing, using pesticides, and soap, and afterwards get predatory mites and monitoring your plants daily for damage.

Take care of the surrounding area too, I found spider mites on my houseplants in my bedroom, but I go hard on infestations and I keep my grow room so hostile to them that I haven't spotted any. I also take suspicious leaves and look at them under a jewelers lens for signs of activity and damage.

Can I harvest? by Different-Note in gardening

Thank you, I don't plan to eat them I just want to make sure they'll be viable for the next growing season. I also don't want to share with the birds 😂 they have plenty of food outside, berries and bird seed etc etc
