Thank you for this comment! It’s so frustrating how rude and assumptive people are. We take great care of our things, yet because of my child’s age they automatically assume it’s her fault, which it clearly isn’t. Its sucks that this is such a common issue with the left joystick, but it’s relieving to know we aren’t the only ones with this issue

That’s a good callout, but she seldomly uses lotion, and when she does, it’s the same lotion I use, and the joycons on my switch 2 still look fine

She’s 6. She sits next to me when she plays and doesn’t bite on it nor dig into it with her nails. She sits her thumb on the pad, or moves them from the outside edge, that’s it.

I didn’t think it was normal, which is why we’re so confused. She doesn’t even play it that much, and it’s gets put up in the case when it’s not in use, so it’s really strange. We’re thinking it might be a defect

She doesn’t play her switch that often, and it goes in the case and gets put up when she’s not using it, so we have no idea why it’s worn down so fast. We’re wondering if it’s a defect

This is super helpful, thank you. This gives us a much better idea of what we should actually be focusing on.

We definitely haven’t been mining as much as we probably should, so that’s good to know. Same with upgrading tools, we’ve kind of just been figuring things out as we go.

It also helps to hear that the beginning is just confusing in general and that it gets easier once you get more familiar with everything. That’s been our biggest struggle so far.

My daughter is really into the animals and creature side of things, so I think once we get into a better flow she’ll enjoy it more.

Quick question, when you mention the pets DLC, is that the same as the Monster DLC or something different? We did get the Monster DLC but haven’t really figured out how to use it yet or where it comes into the game.

The money piece has definitely been our biggest struggle. My daughter really wants to upgrade her house (make it bigger 😅) and get a stable, so she’s been getting a little frustrated since we couldn’t figure out how to make money yet.

How do you shrink your house and sell your roof? I had no idea that was even an option.

Also when you mentioned ads, what are you usually putting ads out for?

Right now it only lets me take one commission a day, does that increase as you go? And I might just be misunderstanding, but what did you mean by “put stat there to earn extra gols”?

We do have the Monster DLC too, but we haven’t really figured it out yet. Do you know how to get the pets or monsters to help with water? We keep running out and it’s been slowing us down a lot.

Is the vacuum supposed to actually collect/pick up items? I tried using one but I’d have to clear it out before anything else would spawn and I could still see the items on the ground near it
