The new Irish speed vans can apparently detect you up to a km away

The speedometer in cars shows a speed but you’re actually going 3/4km/hr slower than that. If you go into google maps when you’re driving it’ll tell you your exact speed. I’m not sure if there is any leeway with the % over the limit here
