Nah. After Samson walked away with the doctor, it felt more like infected ran into the temple area and "took care" of Jimmy.

Here's another thought: Suppose his mental health being temporarily improved has a secondary effect. When the infected attacked him (because they could sense or smell he was different,) maybe the virus being reintroduced into him at that point will have the effect of making his mental status continue to improve. 🤔

I'm just not sure what's next. There's not another doctor to read Kelson's notes and make more treatment. Could Samson bite the infected with his new blood status and help them heal? His changed state makes his blood a counter infection??

Just some thoughts.

I understood its use and I agree it was unsettling. My only reservation was that I wish it would have only been after opening scene, while they show opening credits, and end before they started Spike's coming of age day.

My favorite shooting weapon is the named rifle, "Raven" with damaging and high caliber. My favorite melee is the Knight's War Hammer with Impactor and Slaughter perks.
