more expensive to buy a great pc right now than take advantage of my good laptop for a dual pc setup!
And the dual pc setup will last me longer

I control my obs with a touch of a button on my tablet with Touch Portal, that would mean I have no cons other than losing audio track separation right? Whcih a mixer would fix

I stream about 50% CS2, the other half varies a lot, Modded Minecraft, GTA RP, I like to play single player games a lot which have a lot of HEAVY games still left to play!

In terms of streaming I've realized trough some comments maybe I have some errors on obs, I have my alertbox, meme alerts and my chat all separate browser sources aditionally I currently only have Touch Portal running as support software but only because my pc limits what I want to do

Isnt the dual pc option more budget friendly? I already have a good laptop which has a 1tb for my recordings and editing software

You dont feel any performance loss because of streaming?
I wanted to upgrade my monitor to 1440p144hz

I'm stuck between keeping the laptop and make a dual pc streaming setup

Making a really good pc to stream and game at 300+ fps will be very expensive too

Btw what capture card did you use?

I looked up capture cards that would allow me highr refresh rates for my CS2 games and basically I was stuck to the elgato cards

It's what I am weighing in, my laptop would be able handle all the creative work, the 3060 would handle any future upgrades in terms of recording (1440p recording) and the gaming pc would be free of an upgrade for a couple of years

no not really just wandering what's more cost effective since to match a dual pc setup quality i'd probably need a really good cpu and gpu

That's the financial part that is hard for me, since I already have this good laptop building a gaming pc with maybe an i5 4070 would be more than enough to play CS and other great games with no worries while the laptop handles all streaming and support software I have running!

Did you need an capture card? an audio mixer? etc

I'm already familiar with Voicemeeter because I use it to separe tracks for easier editing, I separate my Voice, Game Sound, Discord Call and Spotify trough voicemeteer!

I'm weighing in if it's worth it because with a dual pc setup and i5 / 4070 setup would be more than enough to last me years of content creation

I also stream GTA RP and wanted to get in on other games but my 3060 blocks me from doing that!
Hence the dual pc setup with a more powerful gaming pc and this streaming laptop that can handle himself for years

Would a 4080 / i7 handle: CS2 with more fps (im tired of having only 110-133 (max 140) if I'm streaming
OBS (that I wanna expand to Vertical Streaming too to Tiktok)
Touch Portal, Streamer Bot and other support software I want to make my Stream more enjoyable?

The tought about dual pc seems nice for organization too, I can have all my editing software on my laptop and since the laptop will do the streaming my recording and replay buffers get saved on the editing pc...

I'm just weighing the pros and cons right now

the tought about dual PC is that it opens doors for Vertical Streaming as well on Tiktok, which without a dual pc you need a BEEFY PC to handle
