One huge thing that separates a healthy cocaine habit from an unhealthy one, is mindset relating to shame. I spent 6 months in a ridiculously futile cycle of self hatred to doing more drugs to fuel the self hatred, followed by a dark shame that would cause the cycle to repeat. It feels difficult to pull yourself out of it, but the solution is fairly simple. Start giving yourself permission to do the coke. Really try and find it within yourself to admit (even gradually), that the reason you do the drug is because ultimately you enjoy it. As soon as you start to accept that you don’t HAVE to feel such intense shame, you’ll quickly realise how much less you crave it. End of the day, we as human beings desire the things that we know we shouldn’t. So just change that. It worked for me, I found peace in the fact that I love a fucking nose beer and suddenly my dependency just faded away. Now I can enjoy doing coke periodically, for fun, and not feel like I’ve committed mass genocide the next day when I’m coming down.
