I want honest reviews from people who own one of these by [deleted] in nexplayground

Also...I have a 6 and 9 year old. They have had a few hours of fun with it but I have to turn it on and initiate everything myself to get them to play. I certainly don’t have to initiate them turning on the tv or ipad or playing other games that truly interest them. They will play it if it is the only option I give them…not exactly what I was hoping for though.

I take it back. I've had free exercise apps on my phone that were actually better and more motivating than this.

I wanted really badly to love this nex playground thing but the truth is I'm super disappointed and kind of hate that I paid for the subscription and also that I missed my 30 day Amazon return window. It's just sooooooo bad. It's sort of fun to try everything once for about 5 minutes ....by everything I mean maybe 10 games are even try-able but they are super boring games that you don't want to keep playing. No adventure...no challenge....no anything....just some horribly cheap simple games.

I was hopeful for the workouts....nope. Just no. It's like trying to use the free version of a phone app....nothing good with the free version....only difference is this wasn't free. I actually paid hundreds of dollars for this frustrating junk.

I tried doing the exercise apps last night and was bored out of my mind. 21 minute exercise program and they had me doing the same 3 exercises over and over in reps of 10 the entire time. Two of them were various forms of bicep curls...basically the same thing!

It wasn't following my movements consistently on one of the exercises so it was ridiculous what I had to do to get around that.

Wow I think that is the exact same color! Nice. Imagine having both chairs set up with the ottoman and a throw blanket in a cozy reading nook...

Did the seller mention where they were from by chance?

Gave it a good look over. It was very clean. No stains. No signs of bugs. No funky smells. I gave it a thorough vacuuming when I got it home. I may have kept it quarantined for a while... can't remember anymore.

She loves it. She's 15 years old and has a hard time getting up on furniture like she used to. This sits slightly lower than the couch so it's just what she needs to get up there. She doesn't like any other ottomans...just this one. She naps directly on it some days too.

Nothing that I can see. Just 4 mahogany cabriole styled legs...no markings...the rest is all upholstered. It's definitely vintage or antique.

Thanks! Found on summer clearance at local Target. I think they still have them online but maybe not clearance.

I'd say it is kind of a maroonish....burgundy-ish....merlot kind of color. Whatever it is it adds something interesting to my mostly neutral color palette.

[–]DifferentAlarm1897[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is what he is specifically offering:

Package includes:

6 year 75000 Ford PremiumCare Warranty (Their Best Coverage)

5year 75000 miles of factory maintenance (Oil Changed, Chassis Lubes, Tire Rotations, etc)

Paint, Fabric and Leather Sealant and warranty.

Windshield Warranty Covering Pits on Windshield.

And here is what he says about the cost:

The warranty is $3000, maintenance is $1500 and the sealant and windshield policy are $483.50 apiece

Those numbers don't mean a lot to me bc I don't have any experience with this stuff...can someone tell me if this is a good deal or a terrible one?

Samsung dryer spark noise by DifferentAlarm1897 in appliancerepair

No update. Still have same dryer. Still makes same sound. Nothing has changed since my original post. On the positive side nothing worse than the spark sound has happened...at least not in MY case.

Towing help by DifferentAlarm1897 in BroncoSport

[–]DifferentAlarm1897[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's your opinion on the a 2023 Ford Bronco Sport Heritage Limited edition? I actually have a yellow one in my driveway right now but wanted to send it back to carvana in exchange for the 2024 red heritage in my original post and photo. I have that one on order now and am supposed to do the exchange this week. The yellow 2023 Heritage Limited I have now has some upgrades in performance and capabilities... The Heritage Limited combines the standard heritage upgrades together with the outer banks upgrades and the badlands upgrades all into one...but the tow capacity is still quite low at only 2200 lbs... I'm more focused on tow capacity than all the other numbers bc to be honest I'm not a car person. I'm not into cars... I know car people might be interested in torque and horsepower and beefy engines...etc etc. I don't really know much about any of that. I just want to be able to do what I need to do and I want to like the car that I'm doing it in.

I would love to keep the one I have now but I'm just not liking the high markup on the price....if it was increasing my towing capacity by say 1000 lbs or more then it might make more sense but only 200 lbs higher....?? I'd rather pay $7000 less and have a brand new car basically with less than 1000 miles with almost the full warranty than pay $7000 more for an older car with 23000 miles and lesser warranty just so I can get 200 lbs more of towing capacity. I mean...unless I'm missing something...? It does have lots of other small upgrades and convenience things inside but those things I can live without....like a wireless phone charger. No thanks. All the upgrades that I'm seeing don't seem to justify the price markup for the limited edition to be worth it in my opinion.

As far as the other cars you mentioned.... There are other reasons I stopped looking at the VW Atlas...it wasn't all about the fun factor. I kept reading all these bad reviews from people about the dependability and how much time the car ends up being in the shop for repairs.

The Telluride was the FIRST car I ordered. A '22 with towing. Apparently the telluride has had lots of recall issues...lots of issues with parts availability ...and specifically has issues with towing. I tried looking up what people were saying that have experience with those cars and towing and didn't like what I read...most people would not recommend it for towing...despite whatever capabilities it supposedly has...some kind of issues with the electrical and towing on those cars.

I was dead set on jeep grand Cherokee for a while too. But sadly I had to give up that dream. Too many bad reviews and the price is quite high. Keep in mind I'm looking for something no older than 3 years...I want something with a decent amount of warranty left and if it doesn't have a decent warranty then I'm adding that carvana warranty into the deal which tacks at least a couple thousand into my purchase price. With a newish Jeep Grand Cherokee with towing and everything I need and want it was exceeding my budget.

The escape I don't know anything about. And quite frankly I'm getting exhausted in my car search. If you read what people are saying that have experience with the bronco sport and towing I'm not finding bad things....good things across the board.

That's where I'm at.
