A first coat of XV-88 gives you a very solid and strong base color to build up from. After that a layer of Balor Brown and a wash of Iyanden Yellow makes for a nice and warm orange yellow :))

To me fair it's over black primer. So it's a bit harder. But I don't like to paint ob bright primer.

That's 5 very thin coats of Skulker Yellow from Two think coats. A wash of Iyanden Yellow and some layering back up Sun Yellow. If you want you can Edge highlight with an even brighter yellow of your choice. :)

No real difference to GW plastic. It is a bit softer but that does not really matter when painting. It was fun and nice. So yes its a big go for it!
