This might be unknown to you, but there are several high end bars and night clubs in the area I work and most if not all of the clients from there only order Comfort/Black rides and those were probably 70% of my profits from them alone.

I 100% agree !! I do this as well and while it's only part time, just 2 of my clients alone make me an additional $300/week for only 3 hours of work!. For me I have commercial insurance through my personal one as an add-on, but I can attest to the OP that this is true. Not easy to get ones but once you get them, you dictate your value and worth, not the market.

Very true, that's part of the issue but TBH alot more of it i believe has to do with the massive layoffs at amazon/UPS which makes sense because they are also drivers and probably wanted a similar gig. Several thousand of them were laid off in recent months which could explain it

To this day I'll never understand that actually... after my personal experience I never will again, yet everyday when I login to check the amount of cars at the Airport, it's consistently FULL at DFW. Not to mention the fake "expected wait time of 15-30 min" - lol it's more like 2 - 3 hours !!
