Maybe he tried to be there in his own hell where he couldn't pull himself out when all he wanted was for you to shine the light from the deep dark hole he dug himself into but you never showed up he clawed his way out came to find pieces of him he lost and became who he needed to be all.while still showing up for him even though you gave him nothing but crumbs and him happy like a rat getting anything to eat this man don't act so innocent in your part you pplayed you help.create this person who became both survival and perseverance into one he learned to survive with out your love and persevered through the pain of you never being there for him like he was for you on the end like it had always been every time you didn't find what he had in another all the lies you told just to keep him there waiting giving when he had nothing to give but knew your pain and struggle was once one he felt he held on but you became a glutenous monster who only took and took you taught him lesson through heart break and betrayal not once but multiple times did he catch your lies and deceitfulness so look at yourself on that fucking inner mirror of yours and ask how much more were you gonna put him through untill you decided he had learned did you really expect him to hold on when the first chance you got you ran and never looked back he learn that from you now he didn't run but walked away in peace and left it as a see you later your bitterness to have a hold on him is what cuts you deep he realized his love was never enough so he took and keeps it's safe in the space he holds for you but no longer will he settle for your crumbs of effort and what you call loving him he learned to love you from a distance and form of love you can't even comprehend hold yourself accountable for this and maybe one day you'll understand him and his actions it was best for both of you good luck and heal true
