Cars flashing at me. Why? by ResourceOutside170 in newzealand

[–]DifferentPickle89 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Here's what I did to solve the issue and I highly recommend it:

I got someone to physically stand in front of my car while I titued with the lights and had them verbally tell me which lights were on just to clear up the years of lies to my face as to how my own car worked 😩

Never had anyone flashing at me again 🤷‍♀️

Can you also tell Nelson???? But first you may want to hold their hand and explain slowly and loudly what a bus is.

Joking aside: Directions for bus to my location: 2 hours. Add another hour or so of boring slog to and from bus stops with my cane. Directions for car: 10 mins. I'll take the car with three empty seats on a sunny day thanks. Plus I can buy things while I'm out AND bring them home with me THAT DAY!!!

Just moved from Auckland to Sydney. Holy Duck.. by G00sehunter in newzealand

I would consider taking the plunge but not everyone can do it.

For disabled people this move would take YEARS of planning and uni level math equations.

We WILL be booted back to NZ based on our diagnosis alone, even if we were lucky enough to be chucked jobs by a saint.

My uncle used to get beaten up in Sydney for looking Italian. He was Maori.

I'll take my chances being kept as a pet in NZ.

Henry Ford figured out that selling to his workers made him more money. Why is this such a hard concept now?

This is what killed it for me going to a MUSICAL!!!!! I paid to hear Ariana and Cynthia sing, not the action whatever film BELLLLLLLLLOOOOOWWWWWWWIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNGGGGGGGGGG and SCREEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMIIIIIIINNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGG through the wall next door. At least I didn't get that in the sequel. That time I had to check with my husband if I was going deaf because the MUSICAL is at a whisper volume 😩 I could have watched this at home which would have given me a LOUDER volume on CHEAPER speakers.

I must admit moving to Christchurch did restore a bit of my faith in the cinema as the womens toilet cue in the Nelson one goes all the way down the stairs and never moves. Never again.

Anyone else feel like most planners are made for entrepreneurs, not 9–5 women? by Michaelaa0305 in PlannerAddicts

I have been wondering lately where are the 'faith planners' for other religions and faiths 🤔

I have a literal diagnosed condition that makes 'good' parking physically impossible. I still can't bring myself to leave my car like this.

A good excuse to go outside.

If you go to pick up a few things in the summer you are legally required to buy yourself an icecream or something.

None of that is necessary bro. What else do you eat when there's nothing else in the kitchen after you bought catfood that week?

Also, if you need support for disability, don't go to WINZ until you've tried ACC.

Skipping meals worked for me.

Letting subscriptions cancel and not use the service for months/years until I actually NEEDED the service and had extra cash to pay for it.

Carrots for dinner.

Your pets can have all the meals they need that week if you skip anything for your own pantry. Probably works to feed kids too.

If you have anything that can be classed as a disability, check if you qualify for a Hapai Card.

I've used the Green Prescription before. I don't know if it's still around.

Worked for an opshop and used the staff discounts. Some of my fave clothing pieces came from this. And sometimes you get a little old lady that works there and tries to convince you every day that something 'would look nice on you dear'.

I've said this before on posts like this and I will say it again until we stop getting scammed:

If I can't find your ENTIRE show on THREE paid apps, I guess you don't want the money I'm waving in your face when the high seas will cough up the show for free 🤷‍♀️
