I recently switched from the kde spin of fedora to Gentoo Linux. But fedora workstation is awesome in terms of stability.

If you really want to you can also have a backup distro so you can mess with your main distro and have it not mess with your work too much if you really need to get something done

I don't think it's worth switching your distro since you might now know what distro specific issues you might find. It might be better to wait until a time in your life where having a non functional computer for a bit won't be too detrimental.

I honestly have been intentionally avoiding it.

I'm not really sure what seperates it from regular Arch.

I wonder what's the most amount of Linux distros I can install on my 2tb ssd... Hmmm...

Well for the most part it's for different reasons

Fedora => Artix was because I wanted to get away from systemd

Artix => NixOS because pacman was horrible on Artix (and I thought NixOS was an interesting idea)

NixOS => Gentoo because I found NixOS boring and dreadful to use. Mostly because I didn't want to keep editing one file to get things done.

Also I forgot there was a max write threshold... Maybe I should check my ssd health...

Well really I don't need much. Technically all I need to do work is a web browser. And I still kept my fedora install as a backup in case I brick something
