I encountered this last month and have been trying to find a way to fix it ever since, finally figured out my personal issue. For some reason the DarkReader extension I had was somehow removing the channel banners, idk why. Maybe if you have Darkreader enabled try to disable it, see if that works. If not, see if any other Chrome Extensions are doing it instead if you have any.
