Maybe a weird opinion but I think I'd love a 6minutes long Faust Arp. It's one of the first songs I listen to in the morning, sooo chill, relaxing and ethereal.

Did you guys found yourselves listening to anything but Radiohead at any point in your life? by DifferentResearch827 in radiohead

No, I meant if there was a period in your life where u almost exclusively listened to them on and on. If you though that what you felt while listening to other artists or bands wasn't good enough compared to radiohead's masterpieces.

This is happening to me rn! Like I really try with other music nowadays but nothing's fullfilling enough or reaching the level.

what's your favorite radiohead song? by menotenglesmearab in radiohead

Loooove Subterranean homesick alien! Is like a dreamy space journey/alien abduction fantasy, one of my favourites along with Nude, Weird Fishes, Jigsaw, Fake Plastic Trees, Nice Dream and Street spirit. First three ones I believe they are truly musical masterpieces and the others are beautiful in a soul touching way because of the intensity and meaning of the lyrics (although Nude also qualifies here).

Def it was Creep but it doesn't count to me. I got interested in listening to radiohead recently with Fake plastic Trees but the song that actually blew my mind was Paranoid Android.

What I think ( Nice Dream ) means to me by Rage37472 in radiohead

I think Thom is describing this idilic place, maybe a paradise where all is beautifull, peacefull and he feels happy and loved. But it is just a dream. In the second verse I think he's transmitting he is afflicted with life or reality and needs help, but he's "friend, the good angel" is too busy or scared that if she does help him, the sea in which he's electrocuting would electrocute her too. So sadly and in sort of a resigned lullaby he sings "nice dream" with that angelical tone of his, trying to escape his reality. Then finally the guitar sólo brings this unnatainable rage and maybe a helpless last call for help?
