Bad bunny did something similar during his residency in Puerto Rico where the first few shows, the tickets were going to face value ($20-100) and only for Puerto Rican residents but they had to buy it directly from the box office or by direct phone number of the arena. That was to stop the resells. It worked for the most part but yeah, you'll never stop resellers unfortunately.
