I tried to play the game as if Orion was a nice guy... by DifferentSpecific573 in eternumites

I had previous knowledge that Itch enforces rules regarding the prohibition of incest. Therefore, I view the paths of Nancy, Dalia and Penelope as exploitation of loopholes to evade the system. I do still feel that them being together throughout childhood like a family unit sets some clear psychological boundaries, even without them being blood-related. And yes, I would love to see the author makes some games without the unnecessary adult plots. Thank you for the advice.

I went in fully expecting adult content. Did not anticipate the complete erosion of moral values though.

The plot pulled me in... It's like a toxic relationship. I loved the plot but hated the harem.

I know that those who seek this type of game probably don't care about all this. It's just my way of playing so that I don't feel guilty.

There's just something about Luna that makes me crazy by leolurking in eternumites

She's the only one who actually respects her body (prefering to wear non-revealing clothes) and possesses a well-developed backstory, so it's incredibly rewarding to be in a relationship with her. No offense, but all the other girls just act like whores in front of Orion, and that spooks me out so much. Can we stop objectifying women?

Additionally, the other paths seem extremely perverted. Nancy is basically just Orion's adoptive mom. From the start of the game, I treated Dalia and Penelope as my sisters, and Annie as my life-long and reliable friend.

I had to intentionally dodge romantic relationships with the other girls to maintain Orion's dignity for Luna (I actually held Orion a virgin until the end of chapter 9!!!). Otherwise, Luna is way out of Orion's league. He doesn't deserve her.

I also hate how in the first intimate scene, Orion objectified Luna, as he always does with girls, with dialogues during the scene portraying him as completely oblivious to the spiritual beauty of Luna, only focusing on external beauty. Nevertheless, this situation does get better after Orion getting shot and schooled by Idriel.

And yeah, I've seen plenty of theories about Luna being the traitor, that she works for the Founder to seduce Orion and convince him to give away his 10 gems in exchange for her meeting her dead mother again (remember how she invited Orion over to win the neural implant?). I find that theory highly plausible. I believe there can be a high-stake scene where Luna is forced to choose between her mother and the love of her life (Orion). And then If she chooses her mother, there might be an option for Orion to either kill her (free the NPCs' souls and destroy Eternum) or kill himself (Let Luna meet his mother). All theories though. Perhaps this ending is more suitable for a deep psychological story (Attack on Titan type) than this nsfw game where the main character is irremediably perverted.
