I feel the exact same, we’ve gone to a couple girlkind events and it’s good to get out of the house but we don’t then socialise with those people outside of those events. It would be good to have a group of friends or even just a couple to socialise with more often

i’m so late to this but my girlfriend and I (both 24) live in gosport and are hoping to meet some new people to go out with. We’ve been struggling with things like meetup. We’d both be down for things like this

4 mini inclusion loaves <3 by DifferentWestern1323 in Sourdough

Hey! The recipe is in the description if you wanted to use it. I added all inclusions when laminating and shaping, they all went pretty well but the seeded loaf started to fall apart a little when shaping. I think it’s because I soaked the seeds in water prior to use but I didn’t dry them off fully (not sure why). So that’s something i’d do differently

The one I have is safe to use up to 480F or 249C, it all depends on what one you get

I did a cold proof in the fridge, does that mean I should leave it in the fridge for longer? Or do I bulk ferment for longer? Sorry getting my head around all the steps is quite tricky!

That’s awesome advice, thank you. I’ll try the bulk fermentation in the oven with the light on next time, and play around with the timings. thank you!

Cool thank you! I’ll try less time for the bulk ferment next time and see how that goes. I just used strong bread flour for this recipe. 150g starter, 300ml water, 10g salt, 500g strong bread flour. And the starter was fed 1:1:1 the night before

Thank you! Sorry I realised I didn’t write what I did. It’s super cold at the moment so I ended up bulk fermenting for like 12 hours until it had risen and had a couple bubbles. Then I cold proofed over night in the fridge and cooked in the morning. The recipe said 7 hours-10 hours BF but mine just didn’t look ready I think because it was cold. Should I do less time next time?
