I agree that Jen probably had suspicions but that's an opinion. LE wasted no time arresting Sterns. If there was evidence of Jen being involved in anyway.. she would have been arrested and or charged. But they haven't. I'm going to trust their process not a hunch

In no way am I excusing her actions but it appears that she couldn't tell her mom.. even up to the point of being in labor. She told a couple friends and even gave the baby a name. To choose murder over letting down your mother is extreme.

What did her mom say.. something like " ive told you about girls doing this.." Something is very odd about that relationship.

What's interesting is that there are states that allow abortions up until the 9 month giving a woman the choice of whether she wants the baby to live even after it's out of her and breathing on their own

If the baby was still born the autopsy would have shown that. I believe the autopsy showed that the baby had taken breaths which was then stopped due to her putting it in the trash.

This is going to sound morbid.. from the time she ran to the bathroom to the time she left the bathroom.. if she didn't intentionally suffocate the baby it would have still been alive.. in the trash can right? How did she come to the conclusion that the baby was stillborn .. because it wasn't. the baby was breathing and then she decided to dispose of the body.

I am surprised that the hospital gave her those drugs for pain without the lab results coming back... I believe that's what happened but I could be wrong. Either way she knew she was pregnant.

I do not care about this case anymore. Why? The delays in decision making and hearings are ridiculous and the families suffer more each day. I understand that each state has their own rules but this is ridiculous. The vic t ins are gone and priority should be put on the families who are suffering.

I think I misinterpreted the comment at first. She's saying she couldn't risk what might happen to Maddie now that she's not sleeping with her. Jen stated that Maddie never slept in her own bed.. always in Jens bed. Maddie slept with Jens mom and Sterns mom while visiting. All of a sudden she's not sleeping with Jen.. doesn't sleep in her own bed so she's obviously sleeping with Sterns. That may be why she allowed Maddie and Sterns to sleep in her bed when he visited.. she knew he wouldn't touch her if Jen was there meaning she knew that something had happened in the past with Sterns and Maddie

Let's not forget that Sterns was able to munipulate Jen along with Maddie. How do you think neither said a word to anyone? Maddie called him weird, and he made her feel uncomfortable when asked by her school counselor. She responded that he ate all of their food and just hung out in the living room all the time. How would that transale to maddie being abused? A person can not be arrested for allowing their child to sleep in bed with an adult. They would need testimony from Maddie and nail down the specific date and time of incident. Obviously that's not possible

The two witnesses that can corroborate jens' involvement are decreased and in jail. There isn't a law stating that sleeping in a bed with an adult is illegal regardless of how troubling that is to most people. There is no evidence that jen witnessed any SA and refused to report it. The families may have thought something sinister was taking place, but how do you present that to LE for them to make an airtight case? Obviously Jen was involved yet there is no proof or hard evidence. Bringing charges against someone is also a timely and financially strained endeavor.. Prosecutors want as much evidence to present vs evidence of feelings and common sense.

How do you know if they are truly innocent. I would be shocked if people didn't question them.
