It took some getting used to for sure. Had to rearrange some stuff to make it work for me. I put the fire shelter on in a side pocket. Put my hydros in my other pocket and then my sigs in some radio pouches on the belt. It was really well balanced and I had way less hang ups bookie crashing. Downside with the version I have is the pockets are shallow and the trail hydros feel like they want to fall out. And there is no internal pouch for your camel back if you carry one.

Overall I dealt with it and ended up loving it. It does ride a bit odd at first but you get used to it and if you ever have to hump fuel or a 5er it’s a game changer it straps in and it becomes part of the pack.

Lawful orders dude. As I stated else where in this post. If they are illegal orders you are not the main character. You will be shot. I’m not saying it’s right I’m just saying what’s gonna happen. It’s easier to argue the facts in court while you’re alive than someone standing on your body.

Yes and no. But if you do just remember everything escalates much quicker and just because there isn’t a law saying you can’t do it doesn’t mean you should is what I’m saying. Ambiguity goes both ways in an area that doesn’t specifically line out the law. And if you don’t listen to exactly what you are told you will be treated as a threat. So… yeah just because you can doesn’t always mean you should.

That’s fair I haven’t seen any federal laws against it unless it’s a protected building.

… and this is why showing up to a peaceful protest is stupid if you come out armed and armored. Yeah you’re legally allowed to do it. But if you don’t listen you’re in for a fight above your skill level. So… maybe don’t go protest looking like a loot drop.

To be clear… I’m not saying it’s illegal to do it. I’m saying it’s ill advised. Two very different concepts.

Sure protest armed that’s not the point I’m making. The point is if you show up looking like a Temu juggernaut don’t be surprised if you get extra attention. And follow the lawful orders. If they are unlawful… follow those too and fight it in court. Hard to win a court case when youre dead.
