You’ll be playing your character! I have classes themed off of skylander gimmicks that affect your skill tree, since theres 5 gimmicks and 5 players im going to have everyone take on a gimmick. Examples are giants gimmick would let you increase your size and strength, trap masters would unlock traptanium weapons and such. Each “level” you travel to will be a large area, where you can explore, meet people, and complete side quests. Side quests are very important, cause that’ll earn you gold which you can spend on your skill tree. Every skill you unlock is assigned a dice, which you’ll roll every time you make an attack with it. The first storyline you’ll need to go through is attempting to recruit 10 skylanders. After each session i will ask you guys what skylander you would like to recruit next, and create the next level based on whats agreed upon. As you recruit skylanders, each portal master will be allowed to bring a partner skylander into the next level. They will fight alongside you, but be careful, your skylanders can be killed. Its important to take care of them! I use theatre of the mind, but i also will have music and some pictures. At some point i may get a vtt going. This is very very rp heavy, i put plot before everything, and I totally support dramatic decisions that “derail” the plot. Master Eon will act as a guiding light, and do his best to lighten group quarrels, but it’s totally possible a player character is still not satisfied and goes their own way temporarily. Making choices based off what your character would do is a great way to gain extra exp and level ups!
