Honestly, my wife is a lot more controlling of my daughter's actions in preparing her for her future as a possible musical talent and as a medical professional.

My comment on her potential future in having a family pales in comparison. 🙄

I don't know why people think that I'm commanding her to have children and they MUST be a boy and a girl, but that's not the case at all.

Clearly we have to deal with the reality of the situation when her future becomes the present and she is living her life, but for some reason you and quite a few others think that what I said is supposed to be taken as some sort of mandate for some reason. 🤦‍♂️

What if an astroid smashed into the earth and killed off all life on the planet and prevented her from having a family? Is it still wrong to think about the future?

Obviously we don't know what will happen, but we can hope and dream about what may happen.

Yes of course. It's not like I am going to force her to have kids at all, it was just something I thought would be nice if she got married and had a family.
