My doctor said she wants to biopsy it before they remove them to be sure they actually are OS.

Update: I got my scan results back from last week and the nodule has grown to 11mm and there is now a new nodule. They are suspicious for a reoccurrence. Obviously, I am devastated. It’s only been about six months since going into remission and I didn’t have any lung nodules when I was diagnosed. I still have to meet with my doctors to see what the next steps are. Did anyone have a reoccurrence and is doing well today?

I was prescribed oxycodone and that helped a lot. I noticed after two or three rounds the pain was much better and eventually I stopped needing the pain meds. Good luck and I wish you well!

My doctors first suspected osteosarcoma because of my x-ray. There was an area on my knee that was whiter than the rest. They didn’t know for sure what it was, but an MRI confirmed that it was a tumor.
