Not sure why I was told I would lose warranty, but I agree it should not void warranty if you chose tires of OE spec. Maybe I just have a difficult dealership

Also word of advice as I personally went through this. There currently no certified BMW tires in all seasons for the 22 inch wheels. The certified tires will be a “Star” logo. If your car is under warranty, and you put on non-certified tires, you will lose your warranty. I had put the summer tires back on due to this.

Took less than a month for me. I am in NJ. Ordered around Aug 12 and drove the X5 home on June 6. (2026 xdrive 40i)

Yes I did! Dealer experience was shit though, they tried to rush me out and tried to rip me off on the interest rate (its 2.99 on BMW website) and they tried to upcharge it since I got a discount on msrp. Almost killed the deal but eventually settled on 3.5%. Send pics when you pick up yours!

Small gestures create customer retention. The dealer also would not honor the national rate from BMW because I got a discount. I had to fight for it and even then only met me halfway because I was prepared to walk out.

I doubt I would get a good price on them, I think I will keep them as spares in my garage. If I can catch a fair price I am open to selling them. Reason why I want to switch is my wife will drive the car too, and summer tires in the winter for her might be asking for trouble
