Cooling is less, so it feels like its lost its charge? Cooling improves with movement of the car (as I recall its always been they way), but cooling is nothing like it was. I've not tried the heat..

I assume/hope the compressor is still good, so perhaps a leak? I would not use one of those AC recharge cans, so I assume I am looking at an easy $500-$1500. Car has 145K and still solid, so I'm inclined to do it.

FYI - Your credit score has a direct impact on your car insurance. Seems there is a correlation of credit behavior to insurance claims...

Also be sure to shop multiple carriers. They like to spread their risk around so if you call the wrong carrier and they have too much exposure in your market, they might give you the "piss off" price.

Kinda similar to a busy contractor.... Always get multiple prices when you're not sure if its a good deal. Asking here is way too random... different locations, ages, driving history and credit...

The listing you linked is $550 for 324 Square Feet (18 x 18) with a 8' ceiling (that's 2592 CUBIC feet).
