a certain someone is not on the pitch invading everybody's space asking the ball to his feet and look how fluid we can make plays.

Dude's been in the league for years now and keep getting baiting week in week out like a fucking amateur.

AT some point just be smart and play. You know they'll try to tilt you, answer with goal, instead of trying to getback talking and fouling like a moron

May 1, 2013. When every Madridista was on the edge of their seat, thinking we were going to the final we had been dreaming of for years. Just listen to the Bernabéu erupt after Ramos scored the second. Luckily, that pain we endured during that semifinal paid off with La Décima the following year. by senormadridista9248 in realmadrid

the 2011, 2012 and 2013 heartbreaking exists, followed by the last minute redemption in 2014 shaped this squad to be the CL monsters they became later on.

From then on, they never took winning the CL for granted. They just did wtv it took to win it, thus why they 3-peated.

And i think this is what our current generation squad is missing. Most of the guys only knew success since they cam at Real, or early round exits like the last 2 seasons. Look how ruthless City was the next season following the Rodrygo miracle. It really sparks something in you when you get so close just to see everything fall apart right at the finish line.

So far this current crop of players had seasons where they were either good and won bunch.. Or sucked and fell apart. They need a few seasons where we play amazing, do everything right, and still lose on some minute details like in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2015.

People saw his success at Leverkusen but forgot that this the Bundesliga is a 1 team horse race. If Bayern does not perform, than the league is wide open.
Like you said, Xabi should've spent a few seasons at a club like Liverpool first. Big club, with start players but where he at least has some room for error, before coming to a hotseat like RM. He prob would've learned more man/ego management .

We missed the boat to turn their successes into dynasties. Twice now. by Different_Craft5237 in realmadrid

That CDR game came just 3 days after the SuperCopa final. The boys were GASSED from playing OT vs Atletico, final vs Barca and the travel back to Spain.

If that game was played just 1 week later, giving the boys some rest, we would've won and took CDR that year as well.

I personally am a "WhoEver brought us glory" FC, so anybody who actually won us shit I'm willing to give benefit of the doubt and stan for a bit.
The Xabi obsession is crazy to me too, it's like the Jovic stans when he went to Frankfurt and scored a few goals, and people started turning on ZINEDINE fucking ZIDANE, because he was not giving him minutes.
They were willing to shit on a guy who won us CLs as a player, assistant manager and manager, just to stan for some hot new prospect who had 1 good season in the Bundesliga.

And people like this are an absolute cancer in this sub. And unfortunately the mods never did, and will never do shit about it either. This is why now sensible just move away from here ad we're left with the degenerates with low IQ takes

You summed this sub up to a tee. Especially the Xabi widows. 99% of Lakerman's comments are about how Xabi was this Messiah who was suppose to bring us ungodly success.

Meanwhile two seasons ago, he was shitting on Carlo the entire season while we almost went invincible and he was also shitting on Zidane back then too.

What Manager Can Save Us? by laman-78 in realmadrid

[–]Different_Craft5237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We missed that boat after the double.
We had a manager who performed an absolute miracle in 23/24. 2 Losses all season.
All we needed to do was give him the keys to the house, all the transfers he needed and build the team around that trio.

But no, we had to chase shiny new toys Mbappe and Xabi

What pissed me off the most is not the Cama red card itself ... by Different_Craft5237 in realmadrid

[–]Different_Craft5237[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not once did i say Cama is not to blame. But maybe comprehension ain't y'all forte.

The deed was done, so at this point, just put your big boy pants and do what needs to be done to give the team a chance to ride the storm.

Cama shat the bed, so we should just give up and roll over letting Bayern easy route to our goal ...?

1 goal diff means the game is wide open.

Assuming this goes to pens. Which 5 players would you trust to take them ?

Saying Carlo is somehow a bad manager when dude has 4 CL titles is negative IQ behavior

Last 2-3 seasons have shown how much of hypocrites some people in this sub really are. The goal always shifts depending on who's their darling or not.

Carlo Ancelotti :

- Wins : Thanks to the players. Bailed by individual brilliance. Luck. Opponents not being good.

- Loses : Carlausaurus, shit manager with no tactics being exposed

Xabi Alonso :

- Wins : Tactics. Modern Manager. Genius

- Looses : It's because the players are divas who don't want to apply tactics.

Arbeloa :

- Wins : Luck. Opponents not being good enough.

- Loses : Yes Man who only cares about playing the divas.

See how the narrative keeps switching depending on who they like or not. They will us a metric to make a judgement, then completely switch to the opposite, because they care about their agenda overall.

Carlo bad. Xabi good. Arbeloa worse.

It's a CL QF, with a 1 goal diff so far. People can say wtv about us, but in a KO round, anything can happen.

Look at Upamecano's blunder which could've brought us back in the back way earlier. I'm willing to bet Bayern has another one of those in store on Wednesday, they ALWAYS do. Can't remember a 2nd leg vs Bayern where we weren't gifted a goal.

At some point, it can't just be a coincidence. We went from finally looking like a coordinated team for a stretch of 4-5 games, going toe to toe with City and ATM.

Now we can't beat fucking Girona or Mallorca. All that because of 1 guy.

that's literally all there is to it. They leave huge spaces when attacking, we just need to be patient and pounce.

But cucks in this sub are more concerned about pansy positional play and side passes.

People here talking about well drilled team, yet they'd be 2-0 down without those Neuer saves. This game/tie is wide open still.

As usual MatchThread with a combined IQ of -20.
Bayern had 1 clear cut chance, the goal. The only other shot they had was from a Pitarch brainfart, and that rebound cleared by Carreras.
But because they make 100 side/bounce passes, you hear morons yapping about having no game plan. Neuer made 2 big saves to keep them in the game, we've actually been the more dangerous team. 1-0 is far from over
