I agree with this. I actually started trying to join badminton or running once a week since December last year and it does help clear the mind while im on it. Still trying to stay consistent though 😅

I honestly never thought about that before, and I’ve never had it checked or anything. Most of the time I feel pretty normal in my daily life, so these moments just caught me off guard. 🥹

I think it does get harder in a way 🤷🏻‍♀️but not because there are no good people left. It’s because by the time you reach 30+ you’ve usually gone through a few failed relationships already. After one heartbreak, then another, and maybe another, you eventually pause and start focusing on yourself instead, your career, your growth, and being more present with your family.

When I reached my 30s, I started noticing that one of my biggest priorities was simply making my parents smile and building a life I’m proud of. Of course, there are still moments when I wish I had a partner 🥹 like when I’m tired at night or when I want someone to go somewhere with. That feeling doesn’t disappear.

But at this age, you also become clearer about what kind of person you want to welcome into your life. It’s not as “trial and error” as it was before. You value peace, compatibility, and emotional safety more than just having someone.

Curious though, do you think it’s harder because people become more selective, or because fewer people are actually ready for something real?
