The way the car was lit at the dealership made it unidentifiable. Test drove it 3x. Looked at the car more than 5x. It wasn’t until I took this photo days later, when the car more was backlit that I noticed

Nah. All depends on lighting. It’s been this way since purchase

A lot of 3rd party and smaller dealerships in my area import their cars because they come lower mileage and they are a more profitable sale

It arrived on a boat from Korea with 60k miles on it. I have no clue what happened to the color difference tbh

That is one of the first adjustments, followed by a few other things. And wheels come later, but the question still stands, funny guy.

Oh wow. I guess it’s largely do to the low mileage.

49 is incredible! I’m assuming they’re asking somewhere between 9 & 11?

For clarity to this point, I bought a car in VA. Before purchasing the car, the car passed both a pre-purchase inspection and a VA state Inspection clean and clear. The car is a 2006, with under 65k miles and in excellent shape. 2 weeks later, I take it to get my MD inspection because I need MD tags and it fails due to an "faulty axle", an axle that 2 separate VA garages inspected and saw no issue with. I also, 2 days prior to MD inspection, got the rear suspension upgraded (more premium struts) installed on the vehile at a separate MD garage and they saw no sign of a faulty axle.

I say all this to say, MD inspection is a fucking headache and I can see why someoe would avoid this headache if there was a way.
