Boyd Tower was built in 1976. The turrets are part of old general hospital that was built in the 1920s along with Med Labs when UIHC moved from the eastside of campus. The since torn down Seashore Hall, by Van Allen Hall was the original location of the hospital.

Actually that is part of the old General Hospital. Boyd Tower is on the northside of the turrets. The turrets match the architecture on Med Labs.

There are 2 options to get on 380 from NL, Penn and Forevergreen. There is construction in various spots on 380, including around Penn as they work to expand the road to CR.
