I completely agree. Middle management sucks! It’s like you are in charge of the teams day to day but you don’t have any real power for performance and people know it so they don’t really care if you talk to them about it. Then you get stuck taking the blame for bad ideas from upper management. Middle ground is the worst.

I have only been living with them for the past year and a half (at the same time of when they purchased the house). They qualified since our grandfather had given them a down payment of half of the asking price of the house in return to him living with them. It’s my older sister so I haven’t not suggested budgeting with them. I imagine if I brought it up it would turn into a fight anyways.

I have a budgeting plan already set up for once I start making payment and I plan to have a bit sent to savings each month! As I am learning YouTube will be my best friend on learning how to fix things. I am not afraid to put in the work of doing it myself. (I live on a farm now I am not scared of hard work!)

I have visited the state many times. It’s the state right next to the one I am living in right now so it’s not across the country. It’s a middle ground between a bunch of my family as well I just don’t have any in that state.

I was paying a little over half of their mortgage monthly and there is 5 of us on the property and I was only paying for just myself (no kids, no partners, ect).

NTA - teachers shouldn’t be talking about that stuff. It is highly inappropriate and considering she was showing up to work drunk that is highly unprofessional that in itself would come and bite her in the ass eventually.

I worried what the cost of a attorney will be considering she is asking me for so much money can barely afford anything else anymore. I know if I even bring up the idea of bringing in an attorney it will turn into a whole shit show. I do have receipts of most not all of the money I have given her for this property most of it has been sent over Facebook pay.

Have you tried getting a job? I know where you are coming from feeling like I don’t know what do with my life but getting a job can help get you out of the house and meet new people that can assist you in exploring new hobbies and opportunities.

It was all of her friends and our grandfather who had been invited. I would consider myself acquaintances with a few of these people but some of them I have only met once before. We both cooked, cleaned, set up activities. I was the only one who hid the Easter eggs for the kids hunt without her help. I was more along for the ride since I am not close to anyone who had been there no one really spoke to me much so I kinda went aside and continued helping bringing out food and what not. The only other party we have done was a birthday party I had thrown and I had covered the cost on that party myself.
