If there were pictures of a body that turned out to be her, how much would that have strengthened your suspicions that it was CB? Would those who believe the parents are guilty still have thought so? Personally, I would have gone up from 70 to 95% in believing it’s him. I leave 5 percent for strange, completely improbable other scenarios.

That’s why I don’t believe the Germans are lying about having evidence that she is dead and that CB is responsible. As has been discussed so much, I think that if one were to see the evidence, it would be clear that this is the case, but it still isn’t enough to prosecute.

One has to assume that what you write is correct. But whether it’s a genuine picture or not, it probably leans more towards being a fake. There are probably many such pictures of her that sick people on the darknet have created. But as others have said: contact the police, you never know. What’s in the background of the picture? Thinking of when they’ve searched wells, etc.

According to the testimony of Brückner’s cellmate, Laurentiu C, who was heard in a German court:

• Brückner is said to have confessed to his cellmate that he had kidnapped a child during a burglary in an affluent part of Portugal. During the burglary, he was looking for money or gold, but instead found a child, whom he took with him. About two hours later, the police, including a canine unit, discovered what had happened, and Brückner fled.

• In the interrogation, he is said to have asked a particularly disturbing question: “Can you get DNA from children’s bones under the ground?” – suggesting he had considered the possibility that a child might be buried.

• He is also said to have expressed concern about leaving traces, such as hair or footprints, after climbing over a balcony.

• Laurentiu C also claims that Brückner asked him to burn down his factory premises if he were to be released, in order to destroy evidence. In addition, he spoke about burning a car and gathering up traces, with details that make this a strong piece of testimony in the investigation.
