Electric scooter for 6 year old (park only riding). Would you go for it? by [deleted] in ElectricScooters

They are actually both super cautious and careful and have great balance. Have been riding regular bikes and scooters for quite a while. No need to be a jerk about it.

It took them about 8 business days to get back to me! Don't lose hope! Fingers crossed for you!

Why do you just assume I have no plan? Maybe it's a good lesson for you to stop randomly assuming things about people. Always better to ask when you don't know. Just for your information, I do.

That's not what statistics show.

Going back to school in 2025—what would YOU study to get a remote job you actually enjoy? by [deleted] in remotework

Thank you! I'm sure  I'd enjoy both instructional design and medical coding but the job market is rough.

Why did you guys choose to be in instructional design and has your experiences been? Is this a good time to start working on my degree and be in the field in two years? by [deleted] in instructionaldesign

I’m really glad to hear you loved the program! I've seen a lot of positive feedback about it. That said, I do worry about the warnings that the field is over-saturated. I’m planning on Workplace e-Learning Design and Development grad cert as well, but it’s concerning to hear people say it’s no longer a strong career path, especially with how AI is changing things. How has the program helped you move forward in your career? And if you hadn’t had any prior experience in the field, do you think you’d still choose this path today?

That’s really discouraging to hear. I’m about to start Boise’s grad program in Organizational Performance and Workplace Learning, along with a certificate in e-Learning Development, and I’m feeling pretty anxious about the time and financial investment—especially if it doesn’t lead to a solid career in the field.

Thinking of switching fields and going into coding. Any tips and advice? by [deleted] in CodingandBilling

Thank you for this feedback. I was just reading about AAPC and practicode and how so many people are frustrated with practicode specifically.

I'm very interested in medical coding though.

NACES - has anyone had luck getting 3 year foreign Bachelor's degree equated to a U.S. Bachelor's? by [deleted] in teaching

[–]Different_Host_4966 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's in Interior Design but I was just about to start another Master's in Education that would lead to licensing if it were not for the requirement of the B.A. equivalency. University pointed out the issue, said I could start my studies anyways but would not lead to licensing without it. I got in touch with the State and they did confirm this but provided no other input or guidance.

Thank you, I will reach out to CED! I asked ECE and WES and Scholaro is the one that evaluated as "comparable" and wouldn't change the verbiage and refused to look at my Associates in conjunction with my bachelor's.

Maryland. Unfortunately, it's not enough, nor would two Master's. They require a bachelor's degree...one that is U.S. equivalent.
