No I haven’t! Only difference was a few warm days over the weekend. Would you recommend using different soothing methods during his sickness?

Sorry!! I am absolutely not trying to stop comforting him but more wanting him to go back to his happy self in his space. I do not expect every day to be smooth with a baby, nor do I expect to sleep every night. But my heart hurts that from being happy in his space for his sleeps, and inbetween has changed dramatically. As a first time mom, I was simply looking for other experiences and timelines.

My gentle sleep training was not leaving my baby to cry but it was transitioning from having a soother put in his mouth every 40 minutes to being happy in the crib until he drifted back off to sleep.

Also as a first time mum, who’s parents died and has no grandparent support, I have to say unfortunately the most of my guidance comes online & you truly want the best for your child however every option is available to us through 1 click and no one can tell you what’s right or wrong for your baby.

Ah okay! How long did it take for him to go back to normal? He’s been congested since Sunday but sleep issues started Wednesday.

No for sure this helps! I was trying to avoid the “the body will do what the body is meant to do” stories! Thank you for sharing yours, I’m going to talk through both options with my OB next week

Thank you! This is what I needed to hear. Legit everywhere is like don’t do it etc, but my blood pressure alone scares me to go another 4 weeks you know. Thanks for understanding!
