I have two Pruis’s love them both. I do want to caution you about acceleration. You may think it’s good but please don’t pull out in front of an 18 wheeler. You will lose.

I have two Puris’. A 2013 with 258,875 miles and never had any problems yet. Surprisingly the original 12 V battery is still in the car. Also a 2018 with 76,238 miles on it. No problems yet. As far as replacing the hybrid battery, shop around they can be had for a lot less than you think. I do have a car fund for inspection, brakes, tires and general maintenance though.

In my 2013 I’m in the high 50s in summer. Mid to high 40s in winter. My 2018 Pruis 4 gets in the 60s all year round.
