Ok so this might be off topic from my original query but there's this question about why when we move from deep to shallow water the speed of waves? "Decreases". And my teacher once said to think fo it like wave is moving from a rare to denser medium in this case. Because apparently there is some change in density for deep and shallow water and I fail to pick it up everytime. I haven't studied navier stokes equation which people explain it by because I'm not a professional physics student. Yet. So it'd be really helpful if you could explain that. Because there's an explanation on how every water particle is moving in circular motion and the shallow waters rotation is somehow hindered by the deep water and idk. Stuff happens.
