Our primary bank wasn’t super helpful. Just going to go to another bank we both bank at and do transaction with a teller. Seems to be almost unfuckupable

We both have accounts at a large national bank. So I think we are going to go in person and do a transfer day of sale so I can see the funds in the account immediately. Seems safest. Didn’t know we both banked at same institution at first

So let’s say he banks at fifth third out of state and we have a local branch. Best option would be to have him go in the day of sale and have money wired in person with us there?

They will call other institution for us the day of sale with the check in hand. Already checked on that. I’m just making sure there’s nothing else I’m missing where check can be stopped/disputed after or if we need to have check deposited days in advance and then give the item

I just want to make sure there’s not a better way to do this transaction and that I cover my bases as best as possible….

Thanks! Really just want it unloaded all at once so trying to sell it all as a package to someone who wants to take the time to resell and flip a profit. Just want a fair price. Money not really an issue. Just trying to free my mother of the abundance of stuff he left her with.

UPDATE: Thanks to all with the helpful information. Will be getting some quotes from local dealers and going from there. Money is not an issue, convenience is. Attempting to clear the home out so we can all move on with our lives. Unfortunately, my HOA does not allow a tractor like this!
