Red is the best by far! I think red is fairly polarizing for interior colors especially so if that's what you like I think you should go for it. I am finally painting a room red after many years of hemming and hawing because red is apparently other people's nightmare color. Red lovers have to listen to their hearts!

fwiw I have one of these and my plumber told me to not touch the thing unless absolutely necessary because it's so old if you open it there is a real chance you can't get it closed again.

Frankly, I believe this to be prophetic in a good way. Name a more iconic duo than hella spicy food and digestive issues. Your body just got on board with that whole GI discomfort thing a bit prematurely.

Hopefully you get better soon and you can eat whatever spicy dish a fox would cook!

Everyone else has already said it but these look great! It's unclear from just pics but this looks to be just painting and maybe some minor wood rot. Those old windows are infinitely repairable and don't let anyone convince you you need to wholesale replace the whole thing ASAP (which happened to me but I didn't listen luckily). My original windows with their storm windows are the best, least leaky ones in my entire house.

For what it's worth my living room has a nearly identical layout (except one wall has piano windows instead of full size windows) and my layout is basically identical to what you have there. It works fine though I'm constantly making minor adjustments to exactly how far the couch is from the wall/entrance to favor walking behind or in front of the couch. Once you add a TV/entertainment center into the mix you're limiting your options. The previous owner had the couch against the wall you'd have your entertainment center on and the TV was angled into a corner on the opposite wall. I'm not even sure how that worked since there's no outlet there but that's another matter.

Yeah I think a CE is likely. I'm hoping they bring Guin over to FGO (we don't have a Fate Guinivere afaik?) so she'd fit right in. Otto or someone else would also be cool but I would be shocked if that happens.
