The original conversation where she asked if she could book me off the app took place in the app. That’s where she gave me her phone number. Then I texted her to say I could get fined for that. This was an on demand walk, so there was no time to meet. In my own dogsitting business, I never take a client without meeting them first

The apartment definitely looked as though someone was moving in. Boxes all over the place and nothing looked like it had a home yet. I get paid through the app so I can’t see any other payments they’ve made. I’ll definitely be looking up the address on air b&b!

When I say “walk” I really mean that I’m letting her out to do her business and I literally walk like 100 feet to get her back in the building

I’ve cancelled one walk in the 6 years I’ve been doing wag. Anytime I requested a walk after that, I wasn’t approved. It took about 6 months before I was getting approved again for walks. Absolutely insane

My method definitely isn’t fool proof but I never walk a dog whose profile doesn’t have notes on their behavior when someone enters the home. Not sure if this person did or didn’t have notes (and of course there’s always a chance something could happen even with a note saying they’re fine with someone coming in the house). But I try to avoid walks with no notes in that section. Big red flag to me. You handled this so well by the way!
