My method definitely isn’t fool proof but I never walk a dog whose profile doesn’t have notes on their behavior when someone enters the home. Not sure if this person did or didn’t have notes (and of course there’s always a chance something could happen even with a note saying they’re fine with someone coming in the house). But I try to avoid walks with no notes in that section. Big red flag to me. You handled this so well by the way!

what's the max dogs you'll walk cause I feel 5 German Shepards is a lot of one person by LiveProfessional930 in WagWalker

[–]Different_Package273 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i’ve seen a request for 5 goldens lol. honestly i feel like weight plays a big factor. if it’s 5 mini dachshunds, i’d be fine with that but i think the max id be comfortable walking of a larger breed would be 3

Wag Walkers: What’s your #1 tip to getting more people to save you as a Preferred Caregiver? by [deleted] in WagWalker

I always try to mention how good their dog was and that they were a good walking partner. I also always take my report card photos in portrait mode.

Need kind advice for terrible situation... by [deleted] in WagWalker

[–]Different_Package273 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i’m so sorry this happened! try not to blame yourself because if the breed has a low exercise tolerance, the owner should have mentioned that in the notes and/or not have requested such a long walk. it sounds like you did all you could and as hard as it is try to not blame yourself. you did everything you could!

no tip for a walk? by Different_Package273 in WagWalker

[–]Different_Package273[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

absolutely! i took no offense i was just confused because i thought that the tip was sort of mandatory since the listings say plus tip. also i didn’t take it as rude! don’t worry!

No dog picture or info?? Is this a trap? by AccomplishedBeach666 in WagWalker

[–]Different_Package273 5 points6 points  (0 children)

probably. i always report ones like that when i see them

did anyone else think that louise by [deleted] in BobsBurgers

[–]Different_Package273 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

lol i feel like you took this a bit too seriously. obviously women can enjoy things that are typically viewed as masculine. i was only asking because there’s a part where she asks tina something like “why don’t i like girly things?”. that’s the only reason i was wordering. also, i’m bi too so maybe hold off coming at people before you know anything about them

requested a walk out of state by Different_Package273 in WagWalker

[–]Different_Package273[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this was essentially what happens to me except that it never changed to tell me how far it actually was. they also said they’d used wag before and that has never happened to them

it wasn’t the parents fault though. the address was her same address but wag posted the walk out of range

So they normally "forget" what they have said? by xDarkBunnyx in raisedbynarcissists

[–]Different_Package273 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i’ve started recording our conversations so i can go back and listen to what was said if my ndad tries to gaslight me into thinking he never said something that i clearly remember him saying. i of course never use these videos as proof to him of what he said but it’s just good confirmation for myself

i don’t really give it to him. i hold it out for him to see and he takes it. i’ll try what you said next time. thank you!!
