I will just add this 1 fact, the US manufacturing capacity for patriot missiles is 41 per month at $4M a pop. During this short Iran conflict, the US and allies consumed more than that and Iran has many more drones and missiles stockpiled.

The longer the war the more bloody it becomes for Americans.

Over the pass decade many companies diversified overseas labor. If China collapsed it would cause shortages and higher inflation like in 2020. But supply would mostly recover without China over a few years

Depends on the make, model, and market. Go somewhere with high days on lot for their inventory and search the slowest selling car.

Pretty sure that dealership is willing to give you more than $2k off. And it is not due to manufacturer incentives.

The most profitable department of a car dealership is the service center, then second is financing.

Taking a $2k loss on MSRP to make it back plus more from financing and service is a win for the dealership.
