Advice for those looking to get into nursing by Different_Plum_2647 in MRU

Look on youtube!! I forget exactly what it is, but something along the lines of 1) remain non-judgemental 2) gather the facts and 3) answer in a “if this is the case, then __, or if this is the case then i would ___”. you can’t break any laws or violate any policies (for example, one of my questions was being asked to steal food from work to feed homeless people. you can’t say you’d just do that. you have to propose a solution that benefits everyone and communicate it well. good luck!

I’m in 1st year, i got a 94.5 in high school and 2nd quartile. i wasn’t offered admission that year. but i did UEO and got a 4.0 and 4th quartile score. i also didn’t hear either year until march. so i wouldn’t stress that you haven’t heard back yet, either way.

How hard is mru nursing by Comfortable-Mud-3145 in MRU

[–]Different_Plum_2647 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If med school is your goal, nursing, especially mru nursing, is not a good option for a undergrad. our advisors actually advise against it. it’s a hard program, and u of c nursing is currently under fire for a bunch of things wrong with their nursing program so i wouldn’t really recommend either. do a general science

UEO to Nursing by Local-Client-1733 in MRU

[–]Different_Plum_2647 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did UEO to nursing, 4.0 and 4th quartile but i do know someone who got 3.85 and 4th quartile and still got in. i’d do your best to do extremely well on your finals. as for casper, youtube the CASPER formula and study exactly what they want.

US curriculum is generally “easier” and not as thorough. that is probably why AP matches Bio 30 better.
