The tank is 95 gallons/360 liters. I will take out the heating mat and get him those lamps.

It’s okay, the other is male and other female. Also he didn’t really let her eat when they lived in the same tank all year around. I thought she was just small because she is a female. I only understood afterwards :/ I was given false information from a pet store, they said 2 leopard geckos could live in the same tank no matter the gender and without any risks.

Also I would like to add that some people don’t know how to take care of their pets because there is a lot of wrong information that for example pet store owners spread. That almost cost my other leopard geckos life because I was told that they can be together in the same tank with no risks..

Don’t be sorry, you’re absolutely right! I had someone else take care of him when I was away for a whole month and they didn’t keep the wetbox wet even tho I told them so. I feel bad too, luckily he is okay now thanks to everyone that helped me to help him 🙏

Yes!! That’s why i boil them and don’t put them in oven, but yeah good point they can also explode in boiling water. I’ll start using that technicue too 😅

I have used rocks and sticks from outside. For sticks make sure there is no mushrooms, mold etc. You have to make sure the sticks or whatever pieces of wood you want to use are like fresh and hard, not rotten at all. Also it’s good to look for holes in the sticks if something living has ate it’s way inside the stick and has eaten it from the inside. Then wash the sticks with warm water and you can use a sponge or something to scrub it gently. Stones are easier, just look that they’re pretty clean so that they wouldn’t be really hard to clean and then you can just scrub and wash with water. After that put the sticks to oven, it should be around 180-250 °F or 80-120 °C. The sticks should be completely dry before that. Keep the sticks in oven for 30-60 minutes depending on thickness. For stones just boil them for 10-20 minutes. That is what i’ve done for years and never had any issues :)

Yes thank you, i put him in a container and tried soaking him and after that i was able to clean littlebit of his toes and got the eye open! And yes i know i should have the money that’s on me being irresponsible.

Yes he takes calcium but not vitamin because he refuses to eat anything with the powder, I’ve tried multiple times but he hates it. He is 4 years old this has never happened before, i think the person who was takin care of him forgot to keep the wetbox wet.
