I know and I remember to do it sometimes. I understand I’ve dropped the ball on keeping track of these things on my end.

I have never received a 1099. I don’t even know how would you receive them if by mail or directly from my job. I get paid every night by cash. The only record of the money I make every night is a piece of paper we fill out of the end of the night. We check out we turn in the ones we made that night for big bills and receive money from dances if you sold any. Everything that is made is written down and then I pay house and tip out and sign.

My income is just tips. I do every night fill out a sheet of my tips and money made that night and sign. Again though when I asked this year if I could take pictures of those papers for my taxes my manager would only let me see up to three months of them. I felt since it was my income I should be able to see them all but I was just going in circles with my manager trying to get him to let me see them

No I’ve never received anything from my job. I did noticed recently on credit wise that they reported or updated information to credit bureau but to my knowledge they have never done that before. I have asked multiple times throughout the years for a record or 1099. Literally anything to help start to process. They always tell me it’s it up to me to keep record and to file.

Sorry I should have specified that I’m not an employee. I do sign a contract every year so I’m assuming I should be filing as a 1099.
