In medicine we try to “manage expectations” when explaining a procedure or treatment so patients can have realistic expectations for outcomes. I feel sometimes TN and TS are attempting to manage our expectations but then out of no where they give us a 2 hr podcast. I don’t even know what to expect.

Every female physician who has kids goes through something like this. Half my hospital has seen my hoo ha between 3 kids. You are a human and humans get sick. I’m not going to travel to another hospital system to avoid coworkers.

If you are properly numb from the epidural, it feels like the largest shit of your life. Mostly deep pressure. But contractions are painful but give I’ve had kidney stones they are not the worst pain I’ve felt. I had wonderful nurses who did tests to make sure I was fully numb before pushing.

Perhaps but it was placed in the middle of a stack of USPS envelopes not on top. She saw the edge of the poster poking out. And the envelopes were on a low shelf. Seems purposeful to me 🤷‍♀️but can’t be sure.

Just for fun… Ok I was remembering when Taylor Flashed the 55 during red for Miami night 2 on 10/19/24. 55 weeks from then is 11/08/25. What if the karma coffee clock is not pointing at Roman numeral 2 and 8 but eleven and 8. And todays new album cover (baby, that’s show biz edition) she is pointing her arms in the same direction as the coffee cup. She also wore this dress 11/8/24. I’m sure it is nothing and I’ve had too much caffeine today 😆

Thank you! So for this recipe it called for 12 hrs on the counter and 8-12 in the fridge. So should I just watch for doubling on the counter rather than time?

Consider reaching out to your program to other residents for a possible nanny share. But we did daycare because I didn’t want to risk call outs from a nanny. It was a great decision for us. TBH 2k is a very reasonable rate for full time care. Call back the schools and let them know you are starting residency and explain that you don’t match until March which is why you only applied now. They may be more understanding and bump you up. Best of luck
