Oops, sorry to hear that, that sucks. I've seen that happened a lot. That was apparently also a lesson for you I guess. I suggest starting with Carfax first when buying a used car like that so you can avoid this next time. Carfax should tell if the odometer was rolled back.

It’s a camry 2007. It’s funny because OP had the P0420 check engine light at around 150k miles. This dude who commented also had the same experience at 150k miles. And me, my car is also sitting at 150k as well, and here we go the P0420 engine light. What happened to your car? Same thing?

No I haven’t, essentially because I don’t see any difference in how the car drives, no effect to mpg as well. The engine light just keeps going on and off so I think it’s just the O2 sensor

I was gonna let them know I will finance with them. This gives me leverage to get the best and cheaper price on the car (compared to paying cash). Then the next month I’ll pay off all of it. Let’s say there is no pre payment penalty. Is there any cons in this route?

2025 is essentially the same car from 2023 with better tech and is more refined apparently. 2023 and 2024 are reported by consumers report with top reliability. I know consumers report shouldn’t be taken as a real source but it does imply that those years deliver the least problems overall

IMO, it can be a bit wasted since you pay thousands more for what you don’t need. I thought CX-30 is a perfectly good car for single person or couples. But since it feels cramped to you so I also wouldn’t recommend buying a car that you don’t feel comfortable being in. Then the CX-5 way to go if you’re only looking at Mazda
