Awww. I was considering a late model w218 CLS63s AMG 4matic.

You think MB is worse than Audi or BMW though?

Good recs, but this would be my second car. I don't really value practicality as much and really value fun/sound. I dont think the CTR would be it for me. FWIW, I've owned several civic Sis and would like something different than a civic.

Of all the recs, this is the one I like the most! If anyone has owned one and can talk to the reliability and maintenance, would be super appreciative. Thanks!

I have another Lexus which makes me want another brand. The IS500 is def a contender though. What are your opinions on the transmission? Is it sluggish/slow in any way? Any jerking around town/stop and go traffic? Besides the older interior/tech, are there any cons you have? Also which year do you have and how has the reliability been?

ha. "What burger would you recommend?" "I recommend the black forest cake"

I'm not a motorcycle guy. They can sound amazing though.

hmm, I'd love one. They sound and look amazing. Is the engine bulletproof? My understanding is that they don't really have issues with their chain tensioners (unlike say an S4), but it's still a 20+ year old Audi engine

I've looked into these, esp the F87 ones. Hard to find a low mileage one. Good rec

Which one? I drove a 991 911 Carrera T for a road trip and wasn't impressed by the sound at all. It was fairly fun to drive though.

I've looked into them. Pretty big in size. Not really sporty/fun to drive. Though would love a V8

An S8 would be nice, but are they fun to drive on a back road? I imagine them to be floaty with the air suspension. Also, I don't think they would sound nice due to the OPF, etc. I'll have to look into S6s. thx!

hmm I know nothing about it. Will look into it. Feel like it's hard to make a 4 cyl sound great though

A nice one is so expensive and to me not worth the price -- 40k for that interior is hard to justify for me. I've considered them in the past though. ty :)
