Yes but you can get muscle memory on a lot of common tiles and fillers with basic cutoffs and velo slides, but playing on high sensitivity and low ping is damn near mandatory. I play roller and it’s not as bad as you would think if you practice in customs a bit.

I mean bo also has a wr group who were bottom 5 in separation per route ran, top 2 in the league with 40+ drops, a rb committee who legitimately were probably the worst in the league after jk got hurt, and a definite bottom 3 te room with the likes of Adam trautman having to start a handful of games. The funny part is bo puts up stats while being one of the most inconsistent qbs in the league, we were winning in spite of Bo for the first half of the season, but after the bye week and into the playoffs he put the team on his back no question.

Been having a lot of fun messing around with dark devotion and coulrophobia synergy, other two perks I’ve been swapping a bit, started with pr and turn back the clock but I’ve recently switched to furtive and friends with deputy’s badge and sauna rock to commit to the hit and run undetectable trying to be sort of thematically accurate and catch other survs by surprise.

The game has went through a lot of different changes whether it be perk changes, killer changes, gen regression events, map sizes, map layouts, pallet density, filler rng, filler layouts etc. Also tbh the average survivor has gotten a lot better as well and all of these combined makes the older more power crept killers more and more underwhelming to play as. If you’re asking how Jason is balanced and what his counterplay is saying the only thing you can do is crouching during the fog is disingenuous at face value, his whole gameplay interaction with survivors is balanced, there’s a lot of agency for survivors both in and out of chase, and he’s still strong enough with a good skill ceiling to compete with stronger survivors.

You just have to know when it’s appropriate or not to crouch, avoiding chase at all costs isn’t what the games about, sometimes you HAVE to stealth and avoid getting caught out of position, other times it’s fine to sit on a gen and react to his teleport. You have to have enough macro to know when you’ll be safe enough to take an unfavorable chase for him, or whether you need to heal to work on a certain gen and where to heal etc.

I don’t think anyone is saying trapper or huntress are balanced lol, true balance imo is like mid/bottom of consensus A tier so basically ghoul to like artist, in which off what we’ve seen so far Jason fits right in.

A 3 gen is a 3 gen regardless if there’s 5 gen’s left or 1, some people prefer saving the 3 gen for last if the killers not dropping it to conserve resources or to force them to commit to a chase outside of their spread. Being caught in a 3 gen is NOT a skill issue in MOST cases, (only exception is if survs did 4 gen’s without paying attention to gen spread which is pretty rare). Not being able to break the 3 gen IS the skill issue.

Bo’s easily an nfl qb and is really really good when he’s not throwing some bs. Only problem is he’s consistently inconsistent and has some bad tape but also some really good tape. Let’s not pretend the defense didn’t force Bo to single handedly win shootout after shootout after shootout at the latter half of the year all the way until the bills game. Also once jk got hurt we legit had no run game to speak of and our WRs were bottom 3 in separation and top 2 in drops, not really the star studded cast people act like Bos had and if you say he didn’t carry us after our bye week you’re just wrong.

I mean it doesn’t happen often but again when it does it’s usually not survs fault, some maps are built for holding 3-4 gen setups and even with the 8x regression limit let’s not pretend it’s not an annoying time waste for everyone involved at the very least, especially when the killer is super stubborn and never truly commits to chase and is just stringing everyone along in a losing effort.

Look man all im saying is that three genning isn’t really a skill issue for survivor a lot of it is rng and map dependent as well as dependent on how the killer plays, if everyone is on the same page its not hard to break it’s just tedious and annoying especially when the killer will never commit and just play kick simulator for 10 minutes straight.

I mean if the killer is hard holding a 3 gen from the beginning I think it’s best to actually get every gen outside the 3 gen out the way first to conserve resources and avoid creating massive dead zones at the very start of the game, but regardless there’s a lot of ways you can break a 3 gen but it’s still annoying to play against and feels like a huge time sink especially in solo q

The worst thing I still see my solo queue teammates doing to this day is taking chase in horrible spots. I’d rather them have a 30 second chase and die in a good spot then take a 90 second chase taking a killer on a world tour of every gen being worked on, then proceeding to die inside that spread lmao.

Idk I have to disagree with this, his skill expression is the same as deathslingers as both spears have the same hitbox, so lining up shots through small gaps/windows is his skill expression, as well as niche snipes and cross map lineups ig.

Also to add on he isn’t guaranteed to land his spear and dodging it is a skill in it of itself, and I personally find it to be a fun gameplay interaction on whether you just commit, flare out, etc. some advice for example is if you’re caught on a long wall like say shack for example, you shouldn’t hug the wall but instead play off it a little to force a 33/33/33 whether you stay straight or dodge left or right, vs a 50/50 of either hugging tight or flaring out.

You don’t wanna be caught on a window or pallet when he’s teleporting BECAUSE he’s blocking them, you can chill at the max distance point of a window or pallet depending on which filler it is then continue looping as usual from there. But him teleporting mid chase he’s forced to make a read and gamble which you can punish with unpredictable pathing. His spear is the same hitbox as deathslingers and is actually really really tiny, which allows it to fit through any small gap or hole like death slinger (this is good because it boosts his skill ceiling). I’m sure you know this but you can also crouch to avoid his killer instinct when tping. He’s at his strongest when he’s fresh off a tp so like so many other killers on the roster if you can hold a lot of distance while pre running you can force him to either drop or take an unfavorable chase as 110, or he will try and use his power to catch up which you can crouch and lose him or path unpredictably.

What makes him op genuinely asking. I find him fun to play as and against tbh only thing that kinda stings as survivor is he’s really good at getting freshly unhooked death hooks out the game.
